These caps form an exceptionally tight seal and offer a good chemical barrier. This liner molds itself around the sealing areas of the finish as the cap is screwed on, virtually eliminating leakage, evaporation, contamination, binding and backing off. Great for everything from liquids, to soaps, to macro-invertebrates.

Red PTFE/White silicone septa + Black cap without hole, for 4ml screw top vial SV104CS 15x45mm vials have a 13-425 GPI thread and can hold up to 4ml of sample. Use the 13 x 425 caps with septa for use as sample vials and with diffusion caps for wash vials. With closed top screw seals, these vials can also be used as storage vials.

It is equipped with a polypropylene cap with an open top and a PTFE/silicone low-leakage gasket bonded to the cap. The level 1 vials have been assembled and quality checked before leaving the factory.
