The Screw Caps that are inlcuded with this kit are knurled on the sides for excellent gripping and comfort when applyting to the vial.

Screw Cap Vials are universal. Screwing the cap applies a mechanical force that squeezes the septum between the glass rim and the cap. Screw caps form an excellent seal and mechanically hold the septum in place during piercing. No tools are required for assembly. 

Caps are available pre-assembled with separate septa or without septa. We also offer Polypropylene Hole Caps with bonded septa to ensure that the septa will not slip off the cap during injection. PTFE/Silicone/PTFE septa provide superior performance with any autosampler using a large diameter, blunt-tipped needle.

Caps for screw thread vials are available with either an open hole for autosampler use and standard addition or with a solid top for sample storage. One piece polypropylene cap and membrane are also available. These pierceable screw thread caps are designed for one time use and reduce sample preparation time as there is no cap and seal to assemble.

Aijiren strongly recommends to use only ready-made sealing caps, whose lining matches the bottle cap completely, and has been automatically inserted under strict sanitary conditions.
