The 9mm screw cap is made from high-quality material, providing excellent durability and chemical resistance. The septa, made of a specialized material, offers optimal inertness and compatibility with a wide range of samples, ensuring accurate and reproducible results in HPLC analysis.

Caps for screw thread vials are available with either an open hole for autosampler use and standard addition or with a solid top for sample storage. One piece polypropylene cap and membrane are also available. These pierceable screw thread caps are designed for one time use and reduce sample preparation time as there is no cap and seal to assemble.

These caps form an exceptionally tight seal and offer a good chemical barrier. This liner molds itself around the sealing areas of the finish as the cap is screwed on, virtually eliminating leakage, evaporation, contamination, binding and backing off. Great for everything from liquids, to soaps, to macro-invertebrates.

The Screw Caps that are inlcuded with this kit are knurled on the sides for excellent gripping and comfort when applyting to the vial. The silicone rubber / PTFE septa used were designed to provide the right amount of resistance to autosampler needles during the injection process so that they penetrate the vial properly without damaging the septa or the injection needle. Too much or too little resistance to the needles can damage the septa, compromise resealing, cause needle blockage from coring of the septa material and even damage your autosampler. These septa perform even when using a wide range of needles: fine, blunt or even dull. Low sample or solvent evaporation performance even after multiple injections have been observed when using aijiren caps.

The 9mm screw cap has a shorter thread, which shortens the sealing time. The silicone septum can be injected multiple times. Screw caps lined with PTFE are used for organic samples. The screw cap provides an inert air-tight seal and can be directly pierced through the sample with a syringe needle.

If you need to perform automatic sampling, it is recommended to use a Cap with a center hole to facilitate automatic injection needles sampling.
