Polypropylene screw cap with septum-The polypropylene screw cap with septum provides an anti-evaporation seal. The double layer includes silicone and PTFE. The silicone septum can be injected multiple times. Screw caps lined with PTFE are used for organic samples. The screw cap provides an inert, air-tight seal and can be directly pierced through the sample with a syringe needle.

We provide the protection of PTFE and the resealing ability of silicone with our septa and seals to fit our autosampler crimp top vials. This seal includes a two sided PTFE septa with silicone in the center. Caps are made of high quality polypropylene, Caps have the profile of a crimp or snap closure for compatibility with robotic autosamplers, Pre-assembled septa reduces the chance of contamination during sample preparation, while saving sample preparation time in the lab.

Caps for screw thread vials are available with either an open hole for autosampler use and standard addition or with a solid top for sample storage. One piece polypropylene cap and membrane are also available. These pierceable screw thread caps are designed for one time use and reduce sample preparation time as there is no cap and seal to assemble.
