A crimping tool is required to seal caps and a decrimper or decapper is required to remove the seals. The new ergonomically designed hand curler features a lightweight and customized design that reduces wrist pain and discomfort caused by twisting. Weighing 25-30% less than earlier designed models while eliminating soreness and pinching issues, the new design greatly improves your experience.
Crimper Usage method:
- After pressing the easy-open cap or aluminum cap tightly with the manual capping pliers, put it into the rolling head, gently press the handle up and down until the rolling head is tightened, relax the handle (do not use too much force) and return to the original position. Use three fingers to check if the cap is loose.
- If the manual capping pliers do not tighten or smooth the cap for the first time, you can adjust the rolling head. Turn clockwise to loosen and counterclockwise to tighten.
Attention:
- First, pay attention to the direction of the headspace vials gasket loaded into the aluminum cap to ensure that there is a PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coated side of the headspace vials towards the mouth;
- Second, attentively adjusting the depth of the jaws of capping pliers to ensure that even if the forceful compression of the handle does not cause the metal caps to crack, serious deformation and so on.
